Winter Park Tube Hill Open Saturday

A Winter Park/Snowmobile Trails update from Kewaunee County Parks Director, Dave Myers: 

This storm has definitely been a challenge, we have been getting a lot of inquiries regarding status of Winter Park and the snowmobile trails.  Here are the updated activities for the upcoming weekend:

Winter Park:

Tube Hill:
Saturday, March 21 - OPEN 10 AM - 4 PM

Sunday, March 22 - CLOSED due to predicted weather (rain)

Ski Hill:
The ski hill remains closed - not much of a base left - lots of wet heavy snow leading to very poor conditions

Snowmobile Trails:
Remain Closed 

Ice Rink, Cross Country Ski and Fat Tire Bike Trails:
All Remain Closed - poor snow conditions and the ground thawing out will most likely keep these closed for the rest of the season.
I know everyone is thinking spring, but we may get another day or two out of the tube hill next weekend and we will monitor conditions throughout the following week.  For now, we will take advantage of the tube hill as that surprisingly has held up well with the previous warmer weather.
