Kewaunee County Announces the Prevea Health Snow Tubing Hill

KEWAUNEE, WI – The thousands who visit Winter Park will notice something new about the snow tubing hill, a sponsor.  Prevea Health has begun sponsoring the hill.

The announcement comes as Kewaunee County and Prevea Health have partnered in a five-year sponsorship agreement at the park with one goal, to help it continue to grow.

“We truly appreciate Prevea's support of family activities in Kewaunee County.  This partnership is just another example of Prevea's commitment to Kewaunee County,” said Scott Feldt, Kewaunee County Administrator.  “It is our hope that this is just the beginning of our local businesses supporting a great community resource.”

“At Prevea, we are passionate about giving back to the communities we serve by supporting initiatives that promote health and wellness,” said Dr.  Ashok Rai, President and CEO at Prevea Health.  “Winter Park attracts thousands of visitors each year who are looking to be active and enjoy time outdoors with family and friends.  It’s an honor to be a part of that as the sponsor of the snow tubing hill.”

Aside from snow tubing, Winter Park also offers skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing.  The highest attendance on record at Winter Park is 13,674 visitors, which was during the 2018-19 season that ran from the end of December through the beginning of March.

Winter Park is located at N3751 Ransom Moore Lane, Kewaunee.  It is operated by Kewaunee County as well as the Winter Park Association, a nonprofit friends group.
