Shanty Days Cancelled
ALGOMA, WI - The Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has announced the cancellation of Shanty Days for 2020 due to the uncertainty of COVID-19.
The annual event is held each August in downtown Algoma and features, vendors, parade, car show, live music, food, beach volleyball, 5K fun run/walk and more.
Other events that have been cancelled for this summer include, Algoma Concerts in the Park, and the Algoma City-wide Yard Sale.
