CANCELLED: Czech & Kolache Fest

KEWAUNEE, WI - Agricultural Heritage and Resources Inc.  has cancelled Czech & Kolache Fest for 2020.

The festival, which typically happens the first weekend of August, is known for its kolaches, a round pastry filled with fruit or cream cheese.

The announcement was made on the Agricultural Heritage and Resources Facebook page on Sunday, July 12, 2020:

"After much thought & discussion we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Czech & Kolache Festival this year.  This is one of our signature events at Heritage Farm and we'll certainly miss the smell of fresh baked Kolaches, the Czech Style Show & of course the music & Czechvar."

Czech & Kolache Fest joins a number of other events that have been cancelled in Kewaunee County due to social distancing concerns with COVID-19.
