2024 Algoma Cruise Ship Season By The Numbers

In a sure sign of fall, the final cruise ship of the season has arrived in Algoma!




To celebrate a terrific year, we caught up with Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce's Rosemary Paladini, to get the stats on the 2024 Cruising Into Algoma, WI season!
10 - ships that cruised into Algoma in 2024 (8 Viking/2 PONANT)
33 - countries that passengers originated from
40 - number of volunteers from the mobile visitor center





50 - States in the U.S.  that passengers originated from
2,500 - number of welcome bags handed out
>5,000 - number of visitors arriving by cruise ship in 2024!
Passengers arrived from as far away as South America and the Philippines, and as nearby as Appleton and Oshkosh!
