Mar. 15, 2021 - Winter Park Wraps Up Season with High Attendance - Winter Park is now closed for the season, but Kewaunee County is pleased to share that we had welcomed 12,302 visitors for snow tubing, skiing and snowboarding to the park during the nine weeks that it was open to the public, making the 2021 season, the third highest attendance on record.

Feb. 16, 2021 - Snowmobile Trails to Open in Kewaunee County - The snowmobile trails in Kewaunee County are set to open in three of four sections on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 6AM, and two of those sections include use of the Ahnapee State Trail.  Trails will open in sections 1 (Red River area), 2 (Algoma area), and 4 (Kewaunee area).  At this time, section 3 (Luxemburg area) will remain closed.
Feb. 10, 2021 - $100,000 Matching Donation for New Bruemmer Park Zoo Exhibit - Kewaunee County is planning to break ground on a new exhibit at Bruemmer Park Zoo in 2021 with the help of a generous $100,000 matching donation by the same member of the Bruemmer family who had also recently come forward with $20,000 designated to purchase four life-size animal statues for the zoo’s green space.
