Kewaunee County Fair Parade

The Kewaunee County Fair, which runs July 11-14 is celebrating 102 years!!!  And, you can catch all of the parade action on Sunday, July 14 at 11:30AM in downtown Luxemburg!!!  And, is it just us or is parade candy the BEST candy?!  Yum!

Sponsored by the Luxemburg Area Chamber Of Commerce, this year's parade theme is, "Salute to America" to celebrate 100 years of the American Legion in Wisconsin.

The parade begins at 11:30 am.  and there is no fee required to enter and NO ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY.  Simply arrive by 10:30 am.  on the south side of Luxemburg, at the junction of Main St.  and Church Road adjacent to Simonars and St.  Marys Church and the parade ushers will place you.

Spectators should plan to arrive early to find parking on side streets as Main Street will be closed for the parade route. 

The parade begins at St.  Mary’s Church, heads down Main St., turns left at Ralph St.  and then left again at First St.  and finally turns right on Elm St.  ending at the county fairgrounds.  The parade announcers will be located across from the Bank of Luxemburg – Main Branch.

Please be aware of a few simple rules for parade unit participation.  (1) You may hand out candy to the crowds but DO NOT toss or throw it from floats trucks etc.  This is a safety consideration.  (2) Water balloons are PROHIBITED.  DO NOT toss or throw them at the crowd.  (3) ALCOHOL is prohibited on floats etc.
