Fall in LOVE with Kewaunee County
KEWAUNEE COUNTY, WI - We invite you to fall in love with Kewaunee County this season.
The fall colors are expected to reach peak during the third week of October. This is the perfect time of year to take advantage of our parks and trails.
The Ahnapee State Trail is an excellent choice for biking, hiking, horseback riding, running and walking as it connects the communities of Kewaunee, Luxemburg, Casco and Algoma and leads up to Sturgeon Bay in Door County.
While you're cruising up or down the lakeshore, take a quick detour and drive down one of the designated "Rustic Roads". One really neat location is Hrabik Road, which is just off HWY 29 in the Town of Montpelier.
Popular places to check out in fall include Hillside Apples, They's Orchards, Bruemmer Park Zoo and the C.D. Buzz Besadny Fish Hatchery.
It's also the perfect time to fall in love with our wineries, von Stiehl Winery, Parallel 44 Vineyard & Winery and Cold Country Vines & Wines as they harvest grapes for their next batch of white, red and rose.
